How We Price

Business Services
monthly Accounting & bookkeeping
We understand that every client's needs are unique. Our pricing is designed to offer transparent and flexible options based on the specific services required, transaction volume, complexity, and level of advisory needed. Our fees are billed monthly, ensuring predictability and ease of budgeting. Our goal is to provide fair pricing while delivering high-quality accounting and bookkeeping services to small businesses, helping you achieve financial clarity and success.
Bookkeeping and accounting services start at a minimum monthly fee of $500. Pricing may vary based on factors such as transaction volume, business size, service complexity, and any additional specialized needs.
Factors Affecting Pricing

1.

Scope of Services

We offer a range of services including bookkeeping, accounting, advisory, payroll management, and more. Pricing varies based on the specific services you require.

If you need either bookkeeping and/or accounting services, or if you already have a bookkeeper and only need accounting services, we offer customized pricing.

2.

VOLUME & COMPLEXITY

Pricing is influenced by the average number and complexity of financial transactions. Complex transactions or a high volume of transactions may lead to higher pricing.

The number of bank, credit card, and merchant accounts requiring reconciliation is taken into account when determining pricing.

3.

Accounts Payable/ Receivable

Pricing considers factors such as volume and complexity of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Additional fees may apply for managing accounts payable and receivable, including job costing if required.

4.

Payroll Management

If you have payroll requirements, pricing is adjusted accordingly. Optional payroll management services are available for an additional fee.

5.

Advisory Services

Advisory services are offered separately and are priced based on the level of consultation required.

Pricing may vary depending on whether we provide both bookkeeping and accounting services.

Clean up/rescue services
Before providing a quote, we conduct a thorough assessment of your financial records to determine the extent of cleanup required. This assessment helps us understand the scope of work needed to bring your accounts up to date.
Accounting Cleanup Pricing Formula
Our pricing for accounting cleanup is straightforward and transparent. We base it on your monthly accounting or bookkeeping pricing, multiplied by the number of months needed to catch up your records. This ensures fairness and consistency in our pricing structure.
Calculation Example
Let's say your monthly accounting/bookkeeping pricing is $500. If your financial records need to be brought up to date for the past 6 months, the cleanup cost would be calculated as follows: Cleanup Cost = $500 (monthly pricing) * 6 (number of months)

business tax preparation
Business tax preparation services are designed to meet the unique needs of your business. Our transparent pricing ensures that you receive fair and competitive pricing based on various factors that influence the complexity and scope of your tax return.
Factors Affecting Pricing

1.

Business Structure

Pricing varies depending on the type of business entity, such as sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, or LLC.

Different business structures have distinct tax implications and reporting requirements, which can impact pricing.

2.

Return Complexity

The complexity of your tax return is determined by factors such as the number of partners (for partnerships), K-1 forms issued, and the presence of multiple subsidiaries or entities.

Returns with multiple partners and K-1 forms typically require more extensive preparation and review, affecting pricing.

3.

Business Location

For businesses located in high-cost regions such as New York City (NYC), additional considerations may apply due to local tax regulations and compliance requirements.

4.

Transaction Volume

The volume and complexity of financial transactions within your business can influence the time and resources required for tax preparation.

Higher transaction volumes may lead to increased pricing to account for the additional workload.

5.

Additional Requirements

Additional reporting requirements, such as sales tax filings, K-2 and K-3 forms (for partnerships), and capital allocation, may incur additional fees. These requirements add complexity to the tax return and may require specialized expertise for accurate reporting.

We are proud to offer our tax preparation services online, making it easy and convenient for clients nationwide. For those in the Hudson Valley area who prefer face-to-face consultations, in-person visits are available. However, please be aware that travel fees will apply for these visits.
